House Fire

December 20, 2011 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 1300 block of High.  Upon arrival firefighters found smoke coming from the second story.  Crews located the fire and quickly extinguished it within six minutes.  A search of the house was completed.  Three dogs and three cats were found and evacuated.  One dog died despite its rescue.   No one was home at the time of the fire.  The fire was determined to be electrical in nature.
