September 20, 2012 - Three people were able to escape from a house fire early this morning.  Firefighters responded to a structure fire at 3305 Rodgers Ave.  Upon arrival crews found minor smoke coming from the one story residential structure.  Firefighters made entry and quickly contained the fire to the kitchen area and extinguished it in under six minutes. One person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
