October 15, 2013 - Barking dogs alerted a homeowner to a fire in her home at 1813 Glenwood Avenue early this morning.  She and her two children were able to self-evacuate the home unharmed.  Fort Wayne Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire in the first floor kitchen area of the two story home.  Firefighters were able to quickly contain the fire and extinguish it, but the structure sustained heavy smoke damage throughout.  The fire's cause remains under investigation.
