November 14, 2014 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a structure fire this morning in the 300 block of E. Woodland Ave. The first arriving units found smoke coming from the second story of the two story home.  Crews were able to quickly contain the fire to the bedroom and extinguish it within 10 minutes.  Two adults were home at the time of the blaze but were able to self-evacuate prior to FWFD's arrival.  There was moderate fire, smoke and water damage to the bedroom.  The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
