January 11, 2015 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported apartment fire in the Canterbury Green Apartment complex.  Occupants of two apartments that share a chimney evacuated after they saw and smelled smoke.  Crews arrived and found smoke and fire in the chimney area and were able to extinguish it in 50 minutes.  No injuries were reported and the Red Cross and Canterbury staff were assisting the three occupants affected by the fire.  The structure sustained moderate fire and smoke damage.
