October 13, 2014 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire in the 1300 block of High Street.  First arriving crews found the fire to be located in the basement of the two story house and were able to contain it to that area of the home.  A search of the structure found all nine occupants, four adults and five children, had cleared the house prior to FWFD's arrival.  The house sustained smoke damage throughout, but fire and water damage was contained to the basement area.  Investigators determined the fire was caused by a juvenile living in the home.   No injuries were reported.  The FWFD was assisted at the scene by FWPD, TRAA, AEP and Nipsco.  Red Cross was called to assist the occupants.
