October 25, 2013 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a reported house fire at 4340 Hazelhurst Drive.  Upon arrival crews found the home fully involved.  Crews were unable to enter the one story home due to structual collapse and were forced to fight the fire defensively. While no occupants were home at the time of the fire, one dog did perish.  The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
