 July 2, 2012 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 429 W. Maple Grove.  Upon arrival crews found the rear of the structure fully involved extending to the siding of both neighboring houses on each side.  Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and limit the damage to the neighbors’ homes.  The fire house did suffer extensive damage.  The two homeowners were inside at the time of the fire but were able to self-evacuate.  Multiple crews were called to battle the blaze.  No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
