April 14, 2014 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to the report of a building fire at Mullinix Packages, Inc. in the 3500 block of Engle Road.  On arrival crews found light to moderate smoke inside the building.  After further investigation, crews found fire within a vacuum pump room in the facility.  The small room was filled with dense black smoke and a small fire confined to the electrical equipment inside.  Employees were evacuated from the building for a short time as a precaution.  No injuries were reported.  The structure sustained minor fire, water and smoke damage.
