July 19, 2014 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a reported house fire in the 1100 block of Eliza St.  It was reported all occupants and pets had already evacuated the two story home.  First arriving crews found fire on the first floor's front room.  Firefighters were able to contain the blaze and bring it under control in six minutes.  No injuries were reported.  The structure sustained moderate fire and water damage with heavy smoke damage throughout the house.  The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
