April 4, 2012 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 2122 Drexel Avenue.  With the home's five occupants already self-evacuated, the firefighters made entry and located the fire in a second floor bedroom and were able to quickly extinguish it.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.  No injuries were reported.  A working smoke detector was found in the home.
