October 9, 2012 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 125 Suttenfield Ave., E.  Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and flames coming from the front porch area of the house.  The occupants of the home were already safely outside.  Crews began an immediate attack on the fire, but the fire did extend up the exterior of the house and into the attic area.  Crews were able to control the fire in 32 minutes with moderate interior damage and no extension to the neighboring homes.  Extensive exterior overhaul was needed.

The occupants of the home were inside at the time of the fire and saw smoke and flames on the porch area.  They immediately vacated the home and call 911.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.  TRAA and FWPD assisted at the scene.
