February 12, 2012 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded to a possible structure fire at 3710 South Park Drive.  Upon arrival crews found heavy smoke and fire in the kitchen area near the laundry dryer.  The fire was quickly extinguished.  One person was home and self-evacuated prior to FWFD's arrival.  The resident said he heard a squeal coming from the laundry area and found fire in the dryer.  He quickly gathered the family's dogs and evacuated the structure.  No injuries were reported.
