October 19, 2013 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department rescued a dog from a house fire Saturday. Crews were called to 2314 S. Hanna after reports of a structure fire. Crews arrived to find smoke and fire showing from the two story home. While determining no one else was inside, crews were able to extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported. Investigators determined the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring. The structure sustained moderate fire and smoke damage.
