November 19, 2013 - Eight people, three adults and five children, escaped an early morning house fire today.  The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to the 7500 block of Ensign Court and found heavy fire coming from the attached garage with possible extension into the second floor of the two story home.  Crews immediately made entry and were able to bring the fire under control within 20 minutes.  The structure sustained heavy fire, water and smoke damage.  A neighboring house sustained heat damage to the siding.  No injuries were reported.  The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
