January 7, 2015 - The Fort Wayne Fire Department extinguished a house fire in the 5500 block of Calhoun St. this afternoon.  Two of the home's occupants were inside and alerted by a smoke detector and safely exited the home prior to FWFD's arrival.  The fire resulted in heavy damage to the residence but no injuries were reported.  The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
